On the monsson eve
Finally the sky has started getting clouded in the evening. But the strong breeze paves its way through the clouds not letting them condense to start raining.
This is the best time at TIFR to go the seashore before sun-set. The mellow orange sun setting in the sea spreads colours of different shades on the 'nimbus' clouds.
Having the VSRP students around (MSc students coming for 2-months projects) the seashore is always crowded .. the new guests being very excited for being here.
For us, the veterans, it is nothing new .. every year we are offerred with almost the same sight. But every time I go there I discover something new, in the way sun sets, in the way the clouds distribute themselves covering the western sky .. bring with it some thing that seems to have never occured before. And this feels my heart with delight!
Now, living in 35 degrees (celcius) with 90% humidity we all are expecting the monsoon to come as soon as possible..
The clouds may make one romantic .. agreed.. but sometimes you prefer physical comfort more. :-)
