Often we realise who we are only in the presence of others, and in this sense, self-identity is a continuing process that never quite reaches a static terminating point. We often reflect on who we are, on who we want to be,on what we have become, and on what we think others around us think we are; and at any stage of our life, all four these flow into us to make us what we are at that time.
